A few weeks ago, I decided to start something that I hope will make an impact for new authors and some that aren't so new. Being an author is hard business sometimes. The writing comes easy but reaching the masses is difficult. Well that's where I hope to come in. So for the first time today and every Monday following after I plan to spotlight a new to me and maybe a new to you author.
Please welcome Author Tiffany Gilbert......
Tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Tiffany Gilbert born and raised in the heart of Detroit on the East-side to my two wonderful parents Martha and Leroy. The youngest out of my siblings at 33 years old. Married to Deshawn Gilbert and we don't have any children. I graduated from Denby High School then later received my Associates in Health Care Administration from the University Of Phoenix. Writing for me has been my passion, my everything, and my scapegoat. I have always written while growing up starting with poems and later wanting to become an author and write my own books. I started writing my first book in 2009. It's been a journey, ups and down with trials and tribulations but through God, I have managed and overcame everything the devil has thrown my way my way. In my books, I have poured my blood sweat and tears into it and I hope for many years to come my supporters enjoy my books just as much as I enjoy writing them. God Bless.
So,when did you fall in love with writing?
I fell in love with writing when I was younger I use to always write poems and then in 2008 I wanted to write a book I didn’t actually start until 2009.
Why did you make the decision to become a published author?
I made the decision to be an published author at first because I thought It would help me as an author but really it broke me a little bit I have been published two times the first time I didn’t learn anything the second time I learned enough to be on my own.
